The Knife Outlet is committed to processing and shipping orders accurately, securely, and in compliance with all applicable laws. Orders are processed after payment has been successfully authorized and verified. Most in-stock orders are processed within one to three (1–3) business days, although processing times may vary during holidays, promotional events, severe weather, inventory audits, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Orders requiring age verification, fraud review, custom laser engraving, or other customization may require additional processing time.

4. Business Days

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays and any days our business is closed. Orders placed after normal business hours, on weekends, or on holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

5. Order Verification

To protect our customers and reduce fraudulent transactions, The Knife Outlet reserves the right to verify billing information, shipping addresses, payment information, identity, and age when appropriate. We may delay or cancel an order if verification cannot be completed or if suspicious activity is identified.

6. Shipping Methods

Shipping carriers and service levels are selected based on the destination, package size, applicable laws, and available shipping options. We may use carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, or other reputable shipping providers. Unless otherwise stated, free shipping offers apply only within eligible U.S. destinations, may exclude oversized items or hazardous materials, and may be modified or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

Estimated delivery dates provided during checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times depend on the shipping carrier, weather, holidays, carrier capacity, destination, and other factors beyond our reasonable control.

The Knife Outlet is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, severe weather, natural disasters, labor disruptions, government actions, customs processing, or other events outside our reasonable control. We will make reasonable efforts to assist customers in obtaining shipment updates when possible.

11. Signature Requirements

For certain orders, including higher-value purchases or where fraud prevention measures indicate additional protection is appropriate, The Knife Outlet may require an adult signature upon delivery. Signature requirements may be added at our discretion for the protection of both the customer and our business.

12. Customer Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Orders returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer may be subject to additional shipping charges, carrier fees, restocking fees where applicable, or order cancellation in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.

13. Risk of Loss

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the risk of loss and title to products purchased from The Knife Outlet pass to the customer upon delivery of the shipment to the shipping address provided at checkout, as confirmed by the shipping carrier.

14. Lost Packages

If your package appears to be lost in transit, please contact The Knife Outlet promptly. We will assist in initiating a carrier trace or investigation when appropriate. Resolution of lost package claims is subject to the policies and procedures of the shipping carrier.

15. Stolen Packages

If a package is marked as delivered but is believed to have been stolen after delivery, customers should first check with household members, neighbors, property managers, or the carrier. We recommend filing a police report when appropriate. While The Knife Outlet will reasonably assist with carrier inquiries, we cannot guarantee reimbursement for packages confirmed as delivered.

16. Delivery Confirmation

Delivery confirmation provided by the shipping carrier serves as evidence that an order was delivered to the shipping address supplied by the customer. Signature confirmation, photographs, GPS data, or other carrier records may also be used to verify delivery.

17. Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses

Orders returned because of an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address provided by the customer may require payment of additional shipping charges before reshipment. If reshipment is declined, any eligible refund will be processed in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy, including applicable deductions.

18. Returned Shipments

Packages returned to The Knife Outlet due to refusal, failure to claim the shipment, unsuccessful delivery attempts, or address-related issues may be treated as returned merchandise. Additional shipping charges, carrier fees, and applicable restocking fees may apply before a replacement shipment or refund is issued.

19. Compliance with Knife Laws

The Knife Outlet complies with applicable federal, state, and local laws governing the shipment of knives and related products. Certain products may be unavailable for shipment to specific jurisdictions due to legal restrictions. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or modify any order that cannot be legally fulfilled.

22. International Shipping

Customers are solely responsible for all import-related charges and compliance with the laws of the destination country.

23. P.O. Boxes

Some products, shipping methods, or carriers may not deliver to P.O. Boxes. If a physical street address is required to complete delivery, we may contact the customer to obtain an alternate shipping address before processing the order.

24. APO/FPO/DPO Military Addresses

The Knife Outlet will make reasonable efforts to ship eligible products to APO, FPO, and DPO military addresses when permitted by law and supported by the selected carrier. Delivery times to military addresses may be longer than standard domestic shipments and are subject to military postal system procedures.

25. Shipping Insurance

Certain shipments may include carrier-provided insurance or optional shipping insurance. Unless expressly stated at checkout, shipping insurance is not guaranteed. Customers requesting additional insurance should contact The Knife Outlet before their order ships.

26. Damaged Shipments

If your package arrives damaged, notify The Knife Outlet within five (5) calendar days of delivery. Retain the product, packaging, and shipping materials, and provide photographs of the damage. We may require this information to assist with a carrier claim or determine an appropriate remedy.

When available, tracking information will be provided after an order has shipped. Tracking updates are supplied by the shipping carrier and may not update immediately.
